😲WOW! I didn’t realize that 9 MILLION CHILDREN in 140 COUNTRIES go to learn about Jesus in schools and churches in the AWANA programs! I didn’t know much about it untill I joined Hillcrest Baptist church in Lebanon Tennessee! I thought it was a great Bible program for kids k-12th, but no idea it was WORLDWIDE!! AWANA stands for APPROVED WORKMEN ARE NOT ASHAMED from the bible verse 2nd Timothy 2:15. I really praise God I get to help make up choreography for the Awana theme song and lead the song

While “Activity Time” and being with friends definitely makes Awana Clubs fun, there’s so much more to club than that. Our midweek ministry curriculum was designed to instill strong faith in kids — the kind that sticks with them their whole lives. But does the design work?
