Effort is a skill. And most people won’t develop it. When I heard @tjmcconnell say that playing hard is a skill, it landed. Because it’s true. If showing up every day with relentless effort was easy, everybody would do it. But they don’t. Most people wait for motivation. Most people pick their moments. Most people turn it on when it’s convenient, when the stakes are high, or when someone’s watching. But the ones who last? They make effort their identity. T.J. didn’t come into the league as a sta
