Feb 16, 2022 · I wouldn't advise mining on an R12 unless you're heavily undervolted. Alienware Control Center. Just set that thing on Performance. Oh, and for performance I swapped RAM from the OEM slow stuff to some 3200 Crucial Ballistics that I overclocked to 3600. 12% latency improvement there.

When it arrives pull the GPU and list the rest on ebay for $300-$500. Put the GPU in your own rig. May 7, 2022 · Got an Aurora R12 last year, with a i7-11700KF, RTX 3070, and 16GB of RAM. It’s a good PC but I know eventually, years down the line, parts will need to be upgraded. I saw from other places that upgrading an Alienware desktop is more difficult than a normal gaming pc?

Sep 17, 2022 · Hey just an update re the upgrade. I have just received Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 but with 3200mhz variant and have successfully added these sticks to R12. Total is now at 48gb running on XMP1. Checked task manager and the speed is on 3200mhz. Thanks for your help

Is it possible to upgrade to a Zotac RTX 4070 Twin Edge? Microcenter has them nearby, and the dimensions are listed as 225.65mm by 123.20mm.
