Jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi began plotting NCP leader Baba Siddique's murder within 10 days of the firing incident outside actor Salman Khan's Galaxy Apartment in April this year. The NCP leader was fatally shot outside his MLA son Zeeshan Siddique's office in Mumbai's Bandra area on October 12.

After the firing incident outside Salman Khan’s residence, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang had allegedly planned to target people close to the actor. Baba Siddique had reportedly emerged as a prime target.

Baba Siddique, a former Maharashtra minister and close friend of Bollywood actor Salman Khan, was shot dead. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility. The police suspect the murder was planned after a firing incident at Salman Khan's residence.
