Carolina Panthers wide receiver Xavier Legette has been the subject of criticism this season, but coach Dave Canales has faith in his WR.

The Panthers drafted Legette with the hope he'd be their No. 1 receiver. But after a rookie season in which his 14.0% drop rate was third highest among players with at least 75 targets, they used the No. 8 pick in 2025 on Arizona receiver Tetairoa McMillan to take that role.
Preparing for his first tour of North America, Lundmark appeared in 49 games in the SHL last season, posting nine points (5G, 4A). In two seasons prior, he recorded 25 points (7G, 18A) in 54 games with Tingsryds AIF of HockeyAllsvenskan, the second-highest league in Sweden. In 2024-25, he also suited up in four playoff games with Timra.
Despite Legette's slow start to the season, his teammates and coaches are practicing patience. "It's not all on X," Dave Canales said.
