The Atlantic Basin woke up after an almost three-week slumber. After Gabrielle, we're watching another tropical wave for development. Here's the latest.

Hurricane Hunters investigating Gabrielle this morning have not found signs of intensification. The system has not yet formed a full eye structure, which it needs to generate stronger winds.

According to the National Hurricane Center, Gabrielle is forecast to pass east of Bermuda late Sunday into Monday and strengthen into a hurricane.

Tropical Storm Gabrielle should strengthen over the weekend and Norwegian Escape is shortening her visit to Bermuda to stay out of the way.
