The reaction to former Dolphins safety DeShon Elliott’s allegation of the team being soft in 2023 continued Thursday. Plus, injury updates on Tyreek Hill, Robert Jones and others.

Those comments reached Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel, who was asked about them when speaking to reporters Wednesday. McDaniel didn't pay much mind to Elliott's criticism, saying his focus was entirely on this year's team.

I haven’t been able to play against Baltimore the way I wanted to because last year I played up for a team that was soft as [expletive],’ Elliott said on an episode of the “Punch Line Podcast with Marlon Humphrey.
