The Arkansas State Police on Wednesday took custody of a Florida man charged in a fatal October 2023 hit and run after he was extradited to Arkansas earlier this week, a Friday news release from the agency states.

NASSAU — State Police on Thursday found a person with multiple gunshot wounds in rural Rensselaer County. Authorities responded at 8:14 p.m. to a report of a shooting on County Highway 15. There, an unidentified suspect was taken into custody, State Police said.
