Max Verstappen has a solid lead in the Formula One point standings, but he hasn’t locked up the championship yet heading into the Las Vegas Grand Prix.

Formula One has no plans to add a sprint race to the Las Vegas Grand Prix schedule in the near future as officials remain “quite comfortable” keeping the format at other events.

Last year, activities leading up to the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix included splashy surprise ticket giveaways to unsung heroes in the community. The approach is decidedly different this year as race organizers welcome school kids,

F1 is coming back to the Las Vegas strip and race day preparations are underway. Barricades and race equipment are slowly taking over the iconic strip for on of the few city circuits in the F1 calendar.
