The Giants are 2-8 in coach Brian Daboll’s third season. They started 2-8 last year and finished 6-11. Not much has gone right for Daboll since he won a 2022 wild-card playoff game in Minnesota, following a 9-7-1 debut regular season.

Former Giants defensive lineman and one-time Super Bowl champion Chris Canty campaigned for John Mara to make a big move with the club at 2-8 during its bye.

Giants are 2-8 at the bye week. Team brass is being questioned. But cleaning house yet again would be shortsighted and an emotional overreaction.
