However, Sportnet’s Elliotte Friedman poured cold water on the idea, pointing to two roadblocks: Anaheim’s stance on the player and Vancouver’s lack of assets to make such a deal happen. Appearing on the “Donnie & Dhali” show on Monday, Friedman said the Ducks want to keep McTavish, not shop him.
Earlier this summer, the New York Rangers dealt long-time forward Chris Kreider to the Anaheim Ducks, ending his 13-year run on Broadway.
