Broadband has been one of the biggest promises for rural Virginia, but in Bedford County that promise is now facing delays.

Some internet service providers in Columbia and Greene counties are expected receive a financial boost from the state’s ConnectAll Deployment Program, Gov. Kathy Hochul announced Wednesday.
