The shootings happened Monday morning when after a male suspect barricaded himself inside of the home with a 13-year-old child, according to a police report.

St. Clair County State’s Attorney James Gomric has declined to file criminal charges against the Illinois State Police trooper who fatally shot an unarmed woman driving a stolen car in East St. Louis.
