WORCESTER – After falling to No. 1 Norwood in the Final Four last season, No. 2 Somerset Berkley was determined not let that happen again when the two sides faced off on Saturday morning in the MIAA Div. II field hockey state finals at John F. Coughlin Field.

The sophomore midfielder defended Norwood star Shea Larkee and tallied twice in the first quarter as the Raiders netted their first title since 2019.

Ella Vaught and the No. 2 Somerset Berkley field hockey team remembered being on the wrong side of the scoreboard in last season's Division 2 Final Four. On Wednesday, Vaught and the Raiders were not going to be denied.
