Kerr County has reported 28 adults and 15 children deceased, Travis County has counted four deaths, Kendall and Tom Green counties have confirmed one each, and the Burnet County Emergency Management coordinator said in a statement that two fatalities have been confirmed Saturday.

Kerrville County Mayor Larry Leitha says 59 people have been confirmed dead in the county, as the search and rescue operation continues.

The death toll in Texas’ catastrophic floods has climbed to 70 people across six counties. At least 11 girls remain missing from Camp Mystic, a summer camp on the banks of the Guadalupe River. NBC News' Ryan Chandler reports.
