There was simply no stopping junior guard Isaac McKneely Friday evening. Villanova looked on helplessly as he buried three-pointer after three-pointer. Some of them came with yards of separation. Others came on running, contested, twisting attempts.

Virginia claimed a significant win, 70-60, over Villanova in Baltimore on Friday. The Cavaliers are undefeated at 3-0, heading next to the Bahamas in the Continental Baha Mar Men’s Championship next Thursday. Isaac McKneely scored 23 points and made all six of his three-point attempts, as the Cavaliers finished 14-of-25 from behind the arc.

A nightmare week for Villanova Basketball has come to an end. After suffering a loss to Big 5 rival Saint Joseph’s earlier on Tuesday, Villanova headed down to Baltimore for the Hall of Fame Series against Virginia and played from behind for a majority of the game.
