A Legionnaires’ disease outbreak on Manhattan’s Upper East Side has sickened at least 72 people and claimed two lives, as New York City health officials sound alarms.

A second person has died in an outbreak of Legionnaires’ disease on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, city health officials said.

As of Saturday night, 72 people have been diagnosed with Legionnaires' disease, and nine people are hospitalized in association with this cluster.
