Life-threatening flash flooding is ongoing or expected as thunderstorms dump several inches of rain across parts of central Kentucky and southern Indiana.

Storms from Friday night continue into Saturday bringing flooding and leaving many without power across Kentucky.

The KY 187 bridge over Sunfish Creek in Edmonson County at the 3-mile marker is closed due to flooding.

Showers and thunderstorms continue across Kentucky Monday with flooding concerns lingering. Sunshine and drier weather return Tuesday and Wednesday before rain chances increase again later this week.

The Fayette County flood warning is expected to be in place until at least noon on Monday, June 22.
