Silverio Villegas Gonzalez, 38, was shot and killed after he allegedly tried to flee a traffic stop and struck an ICE officer with his vehicle.

With law enforcement releasing little information about the death of Silverio Villegas González, one advocate said they "have to stitch this together ourselves."

"It is with great sadness that I announce to you that Nerissa Lee, Assistant Principal at Lincoln Middle school, lost her life in yesterday's tragic shooting that occurred outside of Lincoln," the message, signed by Dr. Michelle Smith, Superintendent of Berwyn North School District 98 said.
