Mississippi middle school students stepped in to stop a school bus after the driver lost consciousness, safely bringing it to a halt.

Footage of the incident shared this week by a school district in Mississippi shows a group of students working together to avert disaster on a highway.

Nobody was hurt and all were rescued after a bus driver in training hit a parked car and veered into the river near Paris, officials said.
