Georgetown looked its age Saturday afternoon — and probably not for the last time. There are inevitable struggles for a men’s basketball program that opts to enter the season with just two upperclassmen.

Notre Dame and Georgetown battled it out on the hardcourt on an annual basis from 1996-2013. This ended once Notre Dame elected to join the ACC in 2014. Often times, the two teams would meet multiple times a season which included the Big East tournament.
