Suspected gunman Robinson wrote note threatening Kirk, tied to scene by DNA, FBI director says
The suspect accused of assassinating right-wing activist Charlie Kirk in Utah wrote a text message before the shooting that he planned to kill Kirk, FBI Director Kash Patel said.
Tyler Robinson, 22, was arrested and is likely to be charged with several charges, including aggravated murder, in connection with the attack last week.

DNA on T-shirt ties man to Edwardsville burglary charge
EDWARDSVILLE — A Cottage Hills man was charged Wednesday with burglary, in part because DNA on a T-shirt was traced back to him. The 50-year-old suspect was charged Sept. 17 with residential burglary, a Class 1 felony; and resisting a peace officer, a Class A misdemeanor. The Madison County Sheriff’s Department presented the case.
